Walnut Raspberry Pi Enclosure - All done


Continue on with this project:



I stayed up LATE last night finishing up the sanding and then applying a nice mineral oil to protect it and but let it keep it's natural color. I put the board in and have had it all together and on my desk trying to distract me all day.

    1. Well... Thanks for the apreciation but really, this one took me about 15-16 man hours to make and finish. Obviously being the first one I would (hopefully) get quicker if I made more... But still I doubt I could make them in less then 10 hours. So they really would be cost prohibitive if I actually ever tried to sell them. Maybe I could do some one offs for someone willing to throw two hundred dollars my way but I doubt there is a market for a $35 computer with a $200 case. lol

  3. This is such a pretty case. It's making me want to actually build the wooden case for my desktop that I keep telling myself I'll make. Maybe I'll start with one for the RPi that's on its way to my idle hands. Thanks for the inspiration!
